A good read

Today, I've added a couple of new blogs to my list. I just picked them up over the last week, but sometimes you can tell right away that you're going to be a regular visitor:-

BigPictureSmallOffice & Revenue Roundtable

I found the first thanks to a post on the Joel on Software Business of Software forums. Checking back to the same thread also lead me to David St Lawrence's blog, which also looks worth reading.

The second is a new venture involving Jim Logan, who's marketing themed blog I've been following and enjoying for a while now.

BTW...BigPictueSmallOffice is one of my favorites too. The author's writing is the best on the net. I look forward to every post he makes! I too am recommending him on my site...maybe later today.

Thanks for discovering my weblog.

Big Picture Guy (Small Office) and I have similar viewpoints on corporate folly. He writes from the inside and I write as an insider who has finally made it outside.

I see no compelling reason why corporate life has to be as painful as it usually is. My first book levels the playing field for employees. My next will hopefully do the same for mid-level managers.

Keep on blogging. More sanity is always needed.

Thanks David, I appreciate the comments and encouragement.

I didn't spend long in the corporate world, but it was long enough to let me see where you guys are coming from. Usually reading blogs about life on the inside gives me an extra boost to keep working hard, and reminds me why I chose to try my hand on the outside.

If your books make life easier for any of the Big Picture guys out there, you're doing a great thing!
