It's spooky...
Although, I noticed in Joel's post later that day that he said both start.com and live.com were from Microsoft.
Yeah. Microsoft's trying to do something on the Web. I wonder if it was some sort of internal competition to see who could come up with a nice solution first, which resulted in those two very similar services.
They must have been given a very similar spec!
