Rebooting

So, the World Cup is over, and it's probably about time I got back down to work.
Over the last few weeks, I've released a minor update to Oriador, my staff scheduling software, and I expanded our PPC search advertising to MSN and Overture. It's too early to comment on the results. I've also been looking into Text Link Ads, both to run here on my blog and to advertise my software. I found out about them via Gameproducer's post, but I haven't made a decision yet.
Even though I feel like I'm just emerging from a month long football hibernation, it wasn't really that bad. I get up earlier these days, so I didn't have too much trouble keeping up with all the real work... it's just that there never seemed to be a lot of time left over for anything else.

Good, get back to work slacker. ;)
Some of us have still been working though... check out my site redesign.
Whoa!! That's a pretty drastic reworking.
It looks pretty good, but it seems to have some layout issues in IE (yeah, I'm one of the 66% minority who don't use Firefox ;)).
Actually, I've found that less than 15% of the people who hit my site use some IE variant. But regardless, I've noticed some oddities that need to get resolved.
Do you even see any of the boxes on the right (like "proud sponsor", "archives", etc)? In all my Firefox versions (on Win and Lin), it shows them just fine, but not at all on IE.
No, those boxes on the right weren't showing up. I saw them fine in FireFox, but in IE they were missing, and the page was much longer than it was supposed to be.
15% doesn't really surprise me given your OSS marketplace... the usage seems to vary a lot based on the type of site, my product site usually shows less than 15% FireFox.
Actually, I'd be one of those Firefox users if I hadn't developed my own browser based on the IE engine. I've become quite attached to Web Helper Browser, so I'd feel lost without it. If I switched to Firefox, I'd probably have to go out and buy Surfulator or something.
