VistaDB has the same name as a database product I used 10 years ago, but no relation to it. Interesting that they were not concerned about that when naming it. They seem very competent and organized for a micro ISV startup; must be that La Jolla climate. :)
Hi Ben,
When we decided to run with the VistaDB name back in 2003 there were no google hits on it but there were some on "dbvista", which was the Raima product. We figured we were good to go, but we still get people asking if we're the same product.

- and on top of things! You responded! I was racking my brain for that product name, just a little off. Yeah, Raima and before that I think it was dbindex or something. Anyway, I understand the desire to use "Vista" in your .NET product and I doubt the false association will hurt. best wishes.
